Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She is an Afghan American actress that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country her family, they moved into the US. The family was granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Ghanizada was raised within Northern Virginia and is the third child of two sisters. Her career on air began by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's role on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for Best Actress in a film festivals. She was also an actor in a variety of television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently played as a character supporting for the film Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an independent comic in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was first seen in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of General Hospital, Night Shift, Ghanizada appeared as Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. In 2009, Ghanizada played Kelly who was a Prada sales girl in HBO's Entourage and was a part of in the cast of the tv pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan as well as the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
